Welcome to FSS Partnerships!            

FSS Partnerships is an initiative dedicated to promoting asset-building opportunities for families in public housing and HUD's Section 8 voucher program.

In particular, FSS Partnerships seeks to:

Expand awareness of HUD's Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program --  a little-known yet promising vehicle for building assets -- across a wide range of constituencies.

bullet

Foster partnerships between public housing agencies (PHAs) and other agencies and organizations interested in asset-building and family strengthening efforts that help to expand the number of individuals building assets and making progress towards self-sufficiency through FSS.

bullet

Support FSS practitioners by sharing best practices and supporting entrepreneurial approaches to program growth.

bullet

Encourage Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) outreach efforts that target individuals in public housing and the Section 8 voucher program.

We would welcome feedback about information provided on this site, as well as suggestions for additional information or materials we could provide that would help advance these objectives.
